The **Popular Union** is the major radical-left, anti-capitalist party in the [[sveland|Kingdom of Sveland]]. Founded as a democratic socialist alternative to liberal and conservative factions, the party has always been a champion and has voiced for structural transformation of the economy, strong public ownership, and a firm opposition to both capitalism and liberalism.

The Popular Union defines itself as a **democratic socialist** and **anti-liberal** party. Its platform includes:

The party has always been supportive of LGBTQ+ rights in Sveland and has always backed transgender and non-binary people's right of recognition by the government.
